Looking fast as I pass,

I can see what I am to be;

Seeing past that beam of light,

Wonder why I am alone at night.

Used to sing, used to dream.

Why so fast, I can see the change?

Ten years passed; so fast, I thought.

Without me knowing its gone.

Always had perfect chords;

The right note beside me to take.

When I sing now I hear,

Nothing but my voice.

So, now I know what I miss.

Melodies that I used to have.

Still, I have to fill my heart

Memories of days that passed.
